Meet Chris Hodgson
Chris has a vast amount of experience in marketing & business development across many sectors. He had a successful career in large food & retailing companies, which included roles on new product development, on-line shopping and account management both for the UK and export customers.
He then went on to set-up and run award-winning hospitality businesses in the tourism sector, with his wife & partner Allie. Chris is passionate about small & medium sized companies who are seeking to grow, and can provide a wide range of support across many commercial areas. He has a high level of integrity, team-work skills and financial acumen, but is happy to get his hands dirty too as you have to in any small business!
As well as being a lover of food & wine, Chris is a keen outdoor sports enthusiast and can regularly be seen walking & running the Lakeland fells. He also actively supports a volunteer sustainability group in Ambleside.
Meet Allie Hodgson
Allie spent much of her career in Sales and Business Development Management roles for both small and large companies. Her roles encompassed both account & sales management, training & recruitment before setting up and running a sucessful luxury catered ski chalet with Chris in the French Alps and latterly a multi-award winning B&B in Ambleside.
She has a reputation for excellence in customer service, which helped them win several hospitality awards during their time in the Lakes, and delivers this in a professional and engaging manner.
A passionate 'foodie' and proficient cook & baker, and excellent hostess. Allie is a real 'people person' and has been a long-time passionate supporter & advocate for adults with learning disabilites & mental health issues after a stint volunteering for MENCAP 25 years ago. She is a very keen walker of the Lake District fells.
